Hey! I'm Storeyed, (pronounced store-eyed), a 17 y/o italian guy who's really passionate about Minecraft, gaming, art and so much more! My birthday's on July 4th, which is something I always found hilarious and could've been a lot funnier if I were American.

I consider myself to be kind and a nice person to be around, but I can sometimes be easily irritable. I'm sorry if I ever lash out at you! I never actually mean it, it's just frustration building up. I try to avoid it, but it's something worth mentioning nonetheless. My humor's all over the place, I find anything stupid hilarious...

What I consider myself to be mostly known for is my OCs being Minecraft blocks/ores, and people often wonder why I chose to be an ore. The answer's pretty simple, actually! In 2021, most of my profile pics on my socials was the Microsoft diamond ore gamerpic. It still is my Microsoft account gamerpic to this day!

As for why I specifically CHOSE to become a diamond ore, I was in an art Discord server that had an "art-games" channel, a prompt based drawing challenge. 5 years ago, the owner of said server posted this very prompt: That gave me sudden art motivation, which led me to install ibisPaint and draw the first ever depiction of my sona, Storeyed technically Lapsical too.... based on my profile picture at the time!

From that first drawing to now, my OCs have mostly been related to Minecraft, with a few recent outliers, and I'm strangely glad a Discord prompt is what started my art and overall online career.

Whew... That's a moderate amount of games, huh? You thought I would've asked for unlimited bacon by now, and you'd be right! When I'm not playing something, I happen to draw, especially using the art programs below!

I have quite a few reasons why! It all started when Knightly was working on his website back in 2023, which inspired me to make my own! Now, the first rendition of Storeyed's Neocity wasn't exactly the best, but it definitely got me somewhere.. I owe a lot to him, he's been there since the very beginning of this website and even made this site's first and proper layout!

While it may or may not be obvious, another reason Storeyed's Neocity exists is because of the hugely limited profile customization of today's social media. Just a banner, profile picture and a bio with a strict character limit aren't enough! I really wanted something unique, something that stood out among the rest, to show the world who I really am. That's where Neocities comes in, and it has given me a lot more freedom to truly describe and express myself.

Last, and actually least was the sudden surge of personal websites 3 years ago! People's Carrds, Wixsites, and Strawpages have, strangely enough, given 13 year old me the motivation to make a space truly for myself! Despite all 3 being made specifically with a "no code necessary" approach, I prefer Neocities much more as I feel like it gives you a lot more freedom compared to those sites, but you're free to choose what you want to make the web truly yours!
